Webcams in Cauterets

The Cauterets webcams provide useful information for spending a few days in the snow. Thanks to these cameras that broadcast live images of the ski slopes and their surroundings, we can check directly, beyond what the snow reports say, the quantity and thickness of the white blanket, the movement on the slopes, the current weather in the ski resort (whether it is cloudy or sunny, whether it is raining or snowing...), as well as seeing, in person, the beauty of its surroundings.

The Cauterets ski resort is famous for being one of the most beautiful and elegant in the French Pyrenees, also known as the Pyrénées Atlantiques, as well as for its proximity to its popular hot springs. Without being a huge resort, it offers us a more than sufficient and fun ski area with 40 kilometres, in which there are 23 slopes fairly balanced in terms of difficulty: 4 green, 9 blue, 8 red and 2 black. They are at altitudes ranging from 1,730 to 2,415 metres above sea level.

What do the pistes currently look like? Don't let them tell you and take a look for yourself at the Cauterets live cams:

• Webcam Lac de Gaube. It shows a spectacular panoramic view of the lake from a fixed camera at an altitude of 1.700 metres.
• Webcams Pont d'Espagne. Images from two webcams of a protected area in the Pyrenees, at an altitude of 1.500 metres: of the waterfalls and the recreation area.
• Webcam Cirque du Lys. 360-degree camera of the ski area from the Du Lys terrace, at an altitude of 1.850 metres.
• Webcam Crêtes. This is the highest altitude webcam in Cauterets, at 2.400 metres, with incredible 360-degree panoramic views of the ski slopes.
