Information on the Masella live snow report

Skiing in Masella is synonymous with skiing on north-facing slopes and with many sunny days in the Catalan Pyrenees. It has a skiable area of 74 kilometres with 65 alpine ski slopes, of which 9 are green, 24 blue, 22 red and 10 black, as well as a snowpark and cross-country skiing routes. The altitude ranges from 1.600 to 2.535 metres, which guarantees a good condition of the Masella slopes during the whole ski season.

To get the right dates for your trip, be sure to consult the Masella snow report we offer you. Here you can discover the daily update of the number of open slopes compared to the total; the minimum and maximum snow thicknesses, as well as the quality of the snow; how many skiable kilometres are open; as well as knowing which slopes, by level of difficulty, are open.

See the distribution of everything the resort has to offer on the Masella slopes map that you can also see here. These are the Masella sectors:

  • Pla de Masella. This is the base of the ski resort, where all the services are located, and where there is usually less snow when it starts to get scarce.
  • Cap del Bosc. At 2.150 metres, it usually has good snow thicknesses.
  • Coma Oriola. At an altitude of 2.000 metres, with many services and an area for beginners.
  • Coma Pregona. One of the higher parts of Masella resort, near La Pleta, at 2.020 metres, where the snowpark is located.
  • Pla de Corda. A ski sector that can be found on the Masella piste map in the direction of the neighbouring resort of La Molina.
  • La Pia. Lower area of Masella, at 1.700 metres.
  • La Tosa. This is the highest part of the Masella resort, reaching an altitude of 2,535 metres. It is, therefore, where there is usually the greatest accumulation of snow.
