Information on the Sierra Nevada live snow report

There are many reasons to ski in Sierra Nevada. These include its impressive ski area with 131 downhill ski runs, of which 20 are green, 48 are blue, 51 are red and 7 are black. It also has the spectacular Sulayr snowpark with 60 modules. But these are just the total figures. If you want to find out what's open and what's not at the moment, take a look at the Sierra Nevada snow report.

With the daily updated information on the state of the Sierra Nevada slopes, we can find out how many kilometres are open out of the total; how many and which Sierra Nevada slopes we can enjoy on our getaway; the minimum and maximum snow thicknesses; or the ski lifts that are in operation so that we can get around the slopes.

On the Sierra Nevada piste maps you can see where the services and all the marked routes of the ski area are located. These are the sectors where you can see the state of the snow in Sierra Nevada, which is usually quite good during the ski season thanks to altitudes between 2.100 and 3.300 metres above sea level:

  • Pradollano. This is the base of the resort, so this is where the snow is usually the least thick. There is a 2.5 kilometre piste for Nordic skiing.
  • Borreguiles. The most crowded sector of Sierra Nevada, with a family area and an intermediate area for beginners.
  • Loma de Dílar. The place where the big snowpark is located, at a good altitude and normally with good slope conditions in Sierra Nevada.
  • Laguna de las Yeguas. The least crowded and highest sector, so the slopes of Sierra Nevada usually have interesting snow thicknesses here.
