Information on the Saint Lary live snow report

The Saint-Lary piste map tells us that it is one of the largest ski resorts in the French Pyrenees, thanks to its 100 kilometres of pistes. In total, it has 59 marked routes, with difficulties to suit all tastes: there are 33 easy, 15 intermediate and 11 difficult. There is also a snowpark and areas for cross-country skiing.
Do you want to know the current conditions of the slopes? The Saint-Lary snow report provides us with the information we need to prepare our trip to the French Pyrenees: here you can see every day how many slopes are open, what kilometres will be available during our visit, how many ski lifts are in operation to move around the ski resort or in what condition the snow is and how thick it is. These are very useful data that will help you decide if it is a good time to go skiing in Saint-Lary or if it is better to wait a bit.
In any case, Saint-Lary usually boasts a good quantity and quality of snow thanks to its altitude, with a minimum altitude of 1.600 metres and a maximum altitude of 2.515 metres. This French ski resort is divided into three sectors:
  • Saint Lary 1700, Pla d'Adet. This is the area at the lowest altitude. It is the most family-friendly, with quiet and easy slopes, ideal for beginners and for going with children.
  • Saint Lary 1900, Espiaube. This is the sector for expert skiers, with interesting challenges in the Pyrenean mountains, such as the very long Mirabelle piste, 3.6 kilometres and 700 metres of vertical drop.
  • Saint Lary 2400. This is the area at the highest altitude, with the best snow conditions, where we can practise other disciplines. Here is the snowpark, for freestyle enthusiasts.
