The slopes of Panticosa are distributed between a minimum altitude of 1.145 metres and a maximum altitude of 2.265 metres, between which there is usually a considerable difference in temperature and snow thickness. The coldest days of the year are recorded between January and February, with average lows of -4.2 and -4.8 degrees respectively; the highs are not warm either, with averages of -1.4 in January and -1.7 in February. Rainfall averages between 10 and 11 days per month throughout the ski season, which lasts from December to April.
