Gran Hotel Balneario de Panticosa

Located in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, the Gran Hotel Balneario de Panticosa is a historic spa hotel built in 1896 and reopened in 2004 after a thorough renovation. The restoration preserved the original facade, recognized as a National Tourist Interest Site, and maintained the building’s original stonework, incorporating new hand-carved pieces to retain its historic charm.

The hotel features a 5,800 m² garden and amenities such as luggage storage, ski lockers, a bar-café, and the exclusive Thermal Space. Its modern, fully equipped rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, safe, heating, and a full bathroom. There are 42 rooms: 14 Standard rooms of 25 m² (for 1-2 people) and 28 Superior rooms of 30 m² (for up to 3 people).

The Thermal Space is an exclusive wellness area decorated with dark marble, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. Facilities include thermal pools, high-pressure showers, a Vaporarium (hot steam treatment), Swedish Bucket (a cold water bucket for body revitalization), and a relaxation area. There is also a paid treatment menu available.

The hotel also offers facilities for meetings and events.

New this year, the hotel is now open all year round. In addition, the El Lago Restaurant now reopens to the public every Friday and Saturday with a tasting menu designed by chef Rubén Pertusa—an original culinary concept focused on quality ingredients, creativity, and technique, making it one of the highlights of the spa experience.

The hotel is also home to El Mirador Restaurant, located in the Casino Building and connected to the Gran Hotel via an interior walkway. The restaurant offers a pleasant and refined space to enjoy à la carte breakfasts and meals in a unique setting. It’s a great choice for groups and businesses, whether starting the day with breakfast or sharing a meal during meetings, gatherings, or corporate events.
